Join us as we embark on a thrilling journey into the darker side of literature with our captivating online reading course focusing on horror, mystery, and the human experience. We'll delve into iconic gothic works, starting with Mary Shelley’s frightful creation, Frankenstein, and journey through haunting landscapes and chilling tales.
📖 This month's session will dive deep into Frankenstein, examining its themes alongside other gothic masterpieces like Emily Brontë's Wuthering Heights and Elizabeth Gaskell’s eerie short stories.
👩‍🏫 Enjoy an engaging experience led by the knowledgeable Sherry Ashworth, where each class begins with a collective reading of a key passage followed by breakout discussions. It’s a perfect option for both seasoned literary enthusiasts and those new to 19th-century gothic novels eager to participate.
📆 Sessions will take place on Zoom with limited spots available to ensure inclusive dialogue. Note that these sessions will not be recorded to maintain privacy.
