Open Mic plus 3 Feature Poets

Join us for a captivating evening celebrating the theme of winter just before the winter solstice! ❄️ Whether it's poems or music related to winter or anything else, all expressions are welcome! 🎤✨

Featured Poets:

• Gavin Hanbridge: A competitor in the 2025 Bread and Butter Slampionship Finals, Gavin explores themes of emotional distance and disconnection. He’s also a Writing NSW Short Fiction finalist and has written for organizations like Wesley Mission and the Japanese Ministry of Finance.
• Andrew Pritchard: A lover of accessible poetry from W.B. Yeats, R. Frost, and T.S. Eliot, Andrew emphasizes rhyme and rhythm to convey clarity in his writing.
• Geoffrey Minards: Just released his fantastic book Gravity is Falling. A post-Counterculture boomer, Geoffrey writes to connect through the alienation of modern dilemmas. He will share insights with Ann Jarjoura in a brief interview. This will be Geoffrey's debut at the Bowlo!

Open Mic Details:

• Poets can share for a max of 5 minutes, and musicians for 2 songs. 🎶
• Sign up starting at 6:15 PM to join the running list!
• Book sales are welcome; if you have your poetry collection, feel free to sell it (you keep 100% of the sales!).
