Join us for Open Shop Hours!
Our Wednesday evening sessions are designed for individuals to work on their own woodworking projects with safety training and guidance from industry professionals.

📍 Location: Foss Waterway Seaport, 705 Dock Street, Tacoma, WA 98402
🕔 When: Wednesdays, 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM.

Regardless of experience level, every participant will complete a safety orientation before being allowed to use tools. Note that this process can take some time depending on attendance, so feel free to reach out to schedule a private lesson for quicker tool training.

🪵 Materials: Bring your own wood and hardware; however, we supply small consumables such as sandpaper and glue.

📦 Storage: Storage space between sessions is not provided unless previously arranged, so be prepared to take your project home.

🤔 Is Open Shop Right for Me?: Open Shop suits intermediate to advanced woodworkers best; everyone is welcome! Beginners may need more patience as they will require additional training and supervision. This is not a formal class setting, so participants should work independently on their projects. If you have questions or need ideas for beginner projects, reach out to Cori.

👥 Age Requirement: Ages 16+, with minors under 18 needing an accompanying adult.
