
Plant and Ride
Back by popular demand, Plant and Ride is returning on Saturday 8 August. Come along and enjoy a unique nature-in-the-city experience, pedal, walk, or scooter through picturesque landscapes while stopping at designated planting sites along the Te Awa River Ride. Perfect for all ages and skill levels, this event combines getting active outdoors with making a real difference for our environment. Participants can complete the route in any order, giving you the flexibility to choose your own pace and planting stops along the way. Go at your own pace, choose your own route, and make memories along the way. Bring your bike or other environmentally friendly transport and join us for this fun community event. Event details: • Saturday 8 August, 11am – 2pm • Planting sites include Yendell Park and Te Ara Pekapeka Bridge.
