POIESIS opening group art exhibition

We're thrilled to invite you to "Poiesis", a captivating group exhibition curated by Sara Almaazmi.

Derived from the ancient Greek term Tolsiv: "to make," "to create," Poiesis embodies the essence of bringing forth ideas that previously did not exist. This thought-provoking exhibition delves into the reasons behind our innate urge to give shape to our thoughts, exploring humanity’s earliest creative impulses.

Through a rich tapestry of sculpture, painting, sound, installation, and material exploration, Poiesis traces back to our ancestral creative expressions, echoing the origins of cave paintings, hymns, carvings, and symbols. The exhibition reflects on creation as a shared legacy—an unbroken lineage of human creativity that continues with every act of making today.

Featuring works by talented artists Sedra Almansoori, Laura Xenopol, Khalid Al Amimi, and Metha Naser, this collection promises to inspire and engage.
