Race for Research 2026

Über die Veranstaltung

Join the Southeastern Brain Tumor Foundation's annual Race for Research, a cherished gathering since 2000 for patients, caregivers, families, friends, and co-workers affected by brain tumors. 🧠💙

What started as a small race in North Atlanta, initiated by local NBC meteorologist Chris Holcomb, has blossomed into a significant community movement. Chris is still an enthusiastic supporter and a Board Member!

Each year, the race draws over 1,000 participants and has raised more than $3 million to support the brain tumor community. Expect a lively, tailgate-style atmosphere where teams gather, connect, and share their reasons for supporting SBTF.

We pay tribute to survivors, caregivers, and current patients with heartfelt honors like the Wall of Honor and Survivor Tree, creating moments of reflection, hope, and celebration. 🎉

Our partners, including treatment centers and local businesses, provide valuable resources and information throughout the event. The opening and closing ceremonies highlight our top fundraisers, dedicated sponsors, long-time supporters, and amazing volunteers.

We love seeing familiar faces year after year as our community continues to strengthen!

👉 Join us for the Race for Research! — Don’t miss out on being a part of this impactful event!
