Re. punk Salon: Art & Health & AI Series

Über die Veranstaltung

What is Re.punk? Re. punk is dedicated to empower women and is promoting a regenerative lifestyle with a distinctly punk and irreverent voice. We use experimental design, artificial intelligence, and data science to demystify the complex science behind chronic disease — with a focus on autoimmune conditions.

The Art & Health & AI series demonstrates the power of artistic expression to communicate complex scientific research through technology. The emotions stirred by experiencing art may also serve as a catalyst for prevention and inspire engagement in health-promoting initiatives.

What are salons? The Re. punk salons are informal gatherings in spaces that provide context for the topics we want to discuss during the salon. The salons are based on: Viennese salon in the 1920s that were intimate gathering, typically hosted in a private home, where artists, intellectuals, scientists, and writers met to exchange radical ideas across disciplines — blurring the boundaries between art, philosophy, politics, and science.

Who should attend and what to expect? Our salons bring together artists, founders, creatives, chefs, farmers, athletes, food scientists, activists, financial advisors, investors, technologists, expert patients, and researchers to accelerate systemic change through a regenerative lifestyle and creative science.

This salon is open to everyone — including men with partners navigating autoimmune conditions, those who believe in empowering women, and anyone who wants to support Re.punk's mission through their network or resources.

Why this salon theme?
Nutrition research has been underfunded, poorly measured, and shaped by industry incentives — leaving us guessing at what food actually does to the body. This salon explores ancient wisdom about the healing power of food and how AI-driven precision nutrition — linking genomics, microbiome, and lifestyle data — is finally building the infrastructure to answer what food really does to the body.

Why at Hotel Gilbert?
This socially and climate responsible Change Maker hotel is run by women with the renowned female chef Pavin Razavi. It is certified as a green hotel with a green outer façade, tries to avoid food waste, and partners with 'to good to go'.

What is the range of topics we explore in our salons? Re. punk salons explore artificial intelligence, ethics & bias, speculative design, hybrid ecologies, biotechnology, women's health, autoimmune disease, food production systems, food as medicine, architecture & health, sports as therapy — and much more — all through the lens of women's empowerment.

The Re. punk salons is a project by MOONDIAL, the non-profit PONY EARTH and the Re. punk collective. It is the brainchild of Dr. Sabine Seymour - the Regenerative Punk www.regenerativepunk.com.

Support our mission and future salons by contributing a donation to our non profit or purchase the inaugural Re. punk zine: Gathering the Evidence.
