Join us for a delightful continuation of the long-awaited Really Make Friends MeetUps → now in Lisbon! 🎉

This gathering is simple: bring your favorite book and find your way to the beautiful Jardim Botânico de Lisboa. Enjoy reading in silence alongside fellow bibliophiles who share your passion, whether they have little time to read or seek the comfort of company. After our reading session, feel free to stick around for a fun connection cards game to engage with those you've been reading near.

🗓️ When: JULY 19th at 11:00
📍 Where: Jardim Botânico de Lisboa. Meeting point near the big fallen tree.
🎟️ Event fee: FREE
🎟️ Entry Info: The park is free until 12:30 — just ask for a free ticket at the gate upon arrival.
🌿 Seating: Grass — be sure to bring something comfortable to sit on, and keep in mind that the grass may still be a bit wet!

How it works:
Upon arrival, greet the organizer, settle down, and dive into your book. We’ll read together in silence for at least an hour — no distractions, just you and the page.

After 1-1.5 hours of reading, we’ll bring out our connection cards for anyone who wants to stay. Enjoy engaging discussions that go beyond traditional small talk for another hour or so!

If you're only here to read, no problem! You can leave after the silent segment, and it’ll be totally fine. If you want to mingle and meet new friends, even better — join us for the cards!

Anything you enjoy — fiction, non-fiction, poetry, or a beloved reread. No judgment! WE DO NOT PROVIDE BOOKS.
