Repair Café at the Downtown Branch

Don't toss it—repair it! If you have a broken household item that's just gathering dust, bring it to our Repair Café and collaborate with skilled volunteer Fixers to learn how to repair it yourself.

What is a Repair Café?

A Repair Café is a vibrant community event where volunteers assist you in fixing everyday items while imparting valuable skills. It’s an opportunity to save money, minimize waste, connect with like-minded individuals, and promote a sustainable community.

Choose Your Registration Window:

• 10:00–11:30 a.m.
• 11:30 a.m.–1:00 p.m.
During your chosen time, a volunteer Fixer will work with you and your item. While you wait, you can:

🛠️ Watch repair demonstrations
💬 Engage with others who are passionate about fixing and sustainability
👀 Learn by observing other repairs

Important Notes:

✔️ This is a hands-on learning experience — you must stay with your item and work alongside the Fixer.
✔️ Repairs are conducted by volunteers, and while we strive for success, results can’t be guaranteed.
✔️ If your repair needs replacement parts, please bring them along.
✔️ Our Fixers have basic tools and specialize in small electrical household items (like lamps and wiring).
❌ Please note: we cannot repair electronics such as cell phones or laptops.
