Join us for an enriching workshop, Riding the Waves of Possibilities, where we'll delve into a multisensory approach to movement and awareness. Through embodied practices, we'll explore how to cultivate a heightened sense of potential and intuition in real-time.

• Develop the ability to sense multiple possibilities simultaneously while keeping the 'unused' in your periphery.
• Engage in exercises inspired by the philosophies of Steve Paxton, Lisa Nelson, and others, to help tune your awareness.
• Enjoy a playful mix of guided explorations, focusing on gravity as our constant partner, as we discover techniques for falling, catching, balancing, and more.

🍽️ Kitchen Access:
A small microwave is available for warming food. Please note that nuts, peanuts, and sesame are not allowed in the venue. Bring your own utensils.

🚍 Getting There:
Take the tram to Saltholmen and then a ferry to Brännö. The ferry leaves at 11:05 on Saturday and Sunday, with a short 20-minute walk from Brännö Rödsten to the school.

🛏️ Accommodation:
We do not provide accommodation, but there are options for rentals on Brännö. Websites like Airbnb and the Facebook group 'Brännö anslagstavla' may have listings. Feel free to post for shared accommodations here on the event page.

👤 About the Facilitator:
Dorte Bjerre Jensen is a PhD student at UC Davis, specializing in improvisation and score-making. With over 25 years of experience in contact improvisation, she integrates movement and activism into her artistic practice. Dorte’s work includes performances at renowned venues, addressing how we can reshape our collective existence as acts of resistance.
