🎷🌊 The Rockaway Swing Beach Party is Back! 🌊🎷

Join us for an unforgettable day filled with surf, sun, swing, and style! This cherished annual tradition returns twice this summer (July 11th & August 8th), creating a vibrant atmosphere of joy, music, and dancing on the iconic Rockaway boardwalk.

This year, we have a rented dance floor on both dates! So, lace up your sturdy outdoor dancing shoes 🩴 and rock your finest vintage or retro beachwear, coastal grandma linens, or just come as your fabulous self! We can't wait to see you at the beach! 💃🏖️🕺

• Beach Hang: 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM
• Social Dance: 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Beach 97 Concession, (97-01 Shore Front Pkwy, Rockaway Park, NY 11694)
• Admission: FREE (donations appreciated to support our incredible musicians and event expenses)

-------------- ITINERARY 🌞 --------------

• 12:00 PM: Surf Hang & Lessons - Beginner lessons available from the Skudin Surf crew (Beach 67th St).
• 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM: Afternoon Beach Picnic Hang at Beach 97th. Chill, mingle, swim, and play spike ball! Bring snacks, water, and your best beach vibes! (Contact point: TBA)
• 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM: Swing Dance Party with DJ Andrius between band sets on our 18x18ft dance floor!
• 5:00 PM to 8:30 PM: Live swing band - Charlie Roman Hot Club with special guest Adrien Chevalier.
• 7:15 PM: Sunset Swimsuit Revue - Celebrate the golden hour with vintage beach looks (organized by Michelle Coursey).

This event is FREE and open to everyone! However, we encourage all attendees to show their appreciation and donate at least $10 to support our live musicians. QR codes and electronic payment links will be available soon.
