Sacred Circuitry

A psycho-spiritual workshop on the four inner faculties, the role of the nafs in emotional regulation, and how modern neuroplasticity research is now confirming a model of the nafs that Imam al-Ghazali drew together nine centuries ago.

Across the day we'll map the qalb, the nafs, the ruh and the aql, look honestly at how the ego disguises itself as logic or even piety, and close with a first look at why change actually happens, both through a scholar's understanding from nine centuries ago and through what neuroscience confirms about it today. No prior knowledge needed, and if you've been to Secret Alignment before, this builds on that and takes it further.
