Join us for an exhilarating Tango Weekend that promises to deepen your connection to this beautiful art form! 💃🕺

Over two immersive days, we will take a deep dive into the world of tango, exploring movement from head to heel, and encouraging a grounded, connected, and emotionally alive experience. Our focus for this weekend will be on dynamic variations - honing in on timing, energy, pauses, and direction to refine your interpretation and musicality.

We aim to create a supportive environment that emphasizes body awareness, balancing activation and relaxation for smoother movements. Cultivating deep communication through listening and honest expression will be key in each workshop.

• Saturday:
  11:00-12:30: WS1: Connection and Caminata
  12:30-14:00: Lunch Break
  14:00-15:30: WS2: Articulation and Free Leg Movement
  16:00-17:30: WS3: Grounding and Elasticity
  20:30: Saturday Milonga at Oceanen with DJ Ahella! 🎶

• Sunday:
  11:30-13:00: WS4: Pauses and Contrast
  13:00-14:30: Lunch Break
  14:30-16:00: WS5: Proprioception and Independence

📍 All workshops will occur at World Dance Company/Oceanen, Stigbergstorget 7.

• 1 workshop: 300 kr (1.5 hours)
• Full package (5 workshops): 1250 kr (7.5 hours)

Ademir Aleman and Samira Abutaleb Rosenlundh are seasoned tango dancers and teachers since 2018. Their unique collaboration combines traditional tango with elements from yoga and contemporary movement, fostering both technical finesse and artistic expression.
