🖌️ Calling all creatives! You MUST take the SP 101: Intro to Vera's Screen Print Studio class before signing up for Open Sessions!

Join us for four-hour Open Sessions at Vera's screen print studio, where students who have completed the introductory class can bring their creative projects to life! With the help of a volunteer moderator, you’ll receive guidance and support for anything covered in the Screen Printing 101 class.

Ticket Options:

  • Vacuum Table: Perfect for paper and other flat media
  • T-shirt Press: Ideal for shirts, tote bags, and fabrics
  • Screen Prep: Focus on just screen preparation

Each participant can purchase a maximum of two tickets. If your desired ticket type is sold out, don’t forget to join the waitlist to get notified when a spot opens up!

What’s Included:

  • Rentable screens
  • Emulsion and emulsion remover
  • Squeegees
  • Basic tools (spatulas, rulers, tape, etc.)

Please Bring:

  • Your own substrate (paper, t-shirts, etc.)
  • Water-based ink (Note: Non-water based inks are not permitted in our studio for safety reasons)

Frequently Asked Questions:

  1. Can Vera print a transparent stencil for me?
    Yes! Please send your stencil as a .PDF file (max size: 12" x 18") at least 24 hours before your session. Stencils cost $5 each, payable upon arrival.
  2. Need direct assistance on your projects?
    Our moderators are there to help with any topics from the SP 101 class. For one-on-one guidance, you can request private tutoring by reaching out at matt@theveraproject.org.
  3. No slots available?
    Our studio is in high demand! If you're unable to find a slot, consider emailing matt@theveraproject.org to discuss private rental options.
