Shabes in Shtetl

🌟 Join us for a very special Friday evening at KulturKirche Nikodemus!

🕕 Doors open at 18:00 for a relaxed klezmer jam session — bring your instrument or simply come to listen, mingle, and embrace the Shabes atmosphere.

🕝 At 19:30, we’ll light candles together and immerse ourselves in an evening filled with music, poetry, and community, spotlighting performers from across the festival alongside surprise guests!

🌌 This gathering draws from the beautiful traditions of the Jewish Sabbath — candle lighting, blessings, and songs — yet it stands as a heartfelt celebration of togetherness and openness, welcoming everyone, regardless of background or belief. No religious knowledge is required. Children are especially welcome!

🤝 This event is a collaboration with Interkulturelles Zentrum Neukölln and is part of our ongoing Melting Pot Dinner series, bringing Berlin’s diverse communities together around shared tables, music, and culture.

🎟 Entry is free, though donations to support Shtetl Berlin's initiatives are always warmly appreciated.
