Shorebird Arts for Families: Sewing with Caitlyn and NYC Plover Project

Learn about the shorebirds found in the Rockaways, and how to sew your own shorebird stuffed animal. Taught by textile artist Caitlyn McLaughlin and hosted by NYC Plover Project. Event will take place at Arverne East Nature Preserve's Coastal Conservation Center in Edgemere, NY. Free parking available onsite.
This event is free, open to the public, and great for families. Supplies will be provided. No experience necessary, and open to all ages.
