Smoked Out Soul (S.O.S.) blends a Bay Area–style sound, mixing live-band energy with a DJ feel. Originally a mixtape project by Zebuel, combining ’70s Motown, Stax, and modern beats, it has evolved into a live act with musicians, producers, and DJs performing together. Their shows mix classic soul and funk with modern elements, live horns, guitars, drums, synthesizers, and high-energy DJ sets. The sound is both familiar and innovative, rooted in tradition but fresh.
