Ground Rules for the Night
To keep things flowing and inclusive, here are a few gentle guidelines:
Respect the mic – Give each performer your full attention.
Time limit – Each performance is around 6 minutes (around 2 songs) to allow everyone a chance. This might be adjusted on the day to 1 song depending on the size of the line up. First come first serve basis.
Content awareness – We welcome all forms of expression, but please keep it mindful of the community space.
Arrive early if performing – Confirm your spot before the show starts.
Support each other – Encouragement and applause go a long way.
No monopolizing – If time allows, you may return to the mic, but first priority goes to those who haven’t performed yet.
Community vibe – This night is about connection, creativity, and openness. Bring your whole self and honor the space.
