Starburster 2027

🌌 Join us for the Starburst Run on Saturday, January 30th, 2027!

Choose your challenge with two distance options: 5 miles or 10 miles. Kick-off the adventure at 5 PM, as we glide through the beautiful twilight scenery of Hurn Forest, Dorset. The event starts at the Hospital Services Cricket Club with an out-and-back route along the main trail.

Important Details:

• Head/chest torches are essential and additional lights are highly recommended; let’s light up the night like stars! 🌠🔦🌳🦇

Course Details:

• The track is hardstanding and well maintained, but trail shoes are recommended.
• 20% of entry fees will support Forestry England in maintaining our treasured forests and trails.
• Aid Station: Snacks and drinks will be available at the start/finish area.
• A designated area will be provided for your personal items. Please bring your own cups, as we do not supply plastic.
• Toilets are accessible at the cricket club.

Age Requirements:

• Minimum age for the 5-mile event is 16 years.
• Minimum age for the 10-mile event is 17 years.

Registration: Begins at 4:30 PM at race check-in before the event. Final instructions will be sent via email prior to the run with full information.
