Summer Picnic Concert: Riverside Brass Quintet

What started as a group of friends reading music and sharing bagels in an apartment on Riverside Drive, the Riverside Brass Quintet (RBQ) redefines contemporary chamber music through novel performances, community-driven projects, and purposeful collaboration. RBQ is committed to uplifting local artists and ensembles; their Brass on Broadway series enabled Upper Manhattan residents to attend and explore popular Broadway music in three varied venues across Central Harlem, Washington Heights, and Inwood.

📍 This performance takes place in Inwood Hill Park on Pat’s Lawn. Bathrooms can be found inside the nearby Nature Center or at the restaurant Inwood Farm with the purchase of food or beverage. Come early to take a walk in the largest remaining old-growth forest in Manhattan, explore the newly renovated Inwood Hill Nature Center, and be sure to stop by our WHCO sponsor CHOCnyc for their incredible homemade ice cream.

🎟️ These concerts are free and open to the public. Guests are encouraged to bring their own picnic, blankets, or chairs, and we kindly ask that you help maintain the cleanliness and care of our shared public spaces.
