Sunday Assembly London Article Club #79

Join us for an engaging evening at the Article Club! Here's how it works:

1. We gather every six weeks near the National Theatre.
2. In advance, we vote and select two articles from a shortlist to read, usually one focused on politics/current affairs and the other on history, culture, sport, business, or science.
3. Each article is discussed for about half an hour, allowing us to delve deeply into broader themes and assess how well each article tackles its subject.
4. Participants score the discussed articles out of 10.
5. We’ll set a date for our next meeting and might even head to the pub afterward!

The goal of the Article Club is to encourage diverse reading, share insights with fellow enthusiasts, and tackle that nagging feeling of not reading enough books. Originally established by Ross Bailey in 2015, it was later led by Claire Ferraro, and I (Alistair Baker) have had the pleasure of chairing it for the past eight years.
