Co-produced by the visionary John Mailander, this album showcases Wellington's creative genius and offers a unique blend of folk, roots, hip hop, and jazz.

Wellington, a recipient of the 2024 Steve Martin Banjo Prize, explains, "People often view Hip Hop negatively, but it's a genre rooted in storytelling, just like Folk. I aim to shift those perceptions and spread messages of hope through my music."

Heart on the Table delves into personal themes such as addiction, race, mental health, and resilience, providing an honest reflection of Wellington's life journey.
