Join us for a special screening of The Disappearance of Miss Scott, an Emmy-nominated PBS American Masters documentary that celebrates the incredible life of jazz virtuoso and screen icon Hazel Scott. 🌟 Scott was the first Black American to host her own national television show, and she was a trailblazing artist as well as an early civil rights advocate. This film showcases her bold confrontation of the Red Scare and her commitment to championing equality.
