Transit is an award-winning, genre-bending exploration of identity, belonging, and migration. Through a series of vignettes that incorporate physical theatre, multilingual performance, poetry, dance, multimedia, practical lights, and music, Transit masterfully navigates the experience of feeling ‘too foreign for here, too foreign for home.’

From the endless cycle of unpacking and repacking to the longing for acceptance as more than ‘a foreigner,’ this deeply human piece serves as a love letter to everyone who has ever left their home behind. Based on true stories from migrants across the UK, Transit poses the poignant question: what does it mean to settle within the space between languages, cultures, and identities?
