Tuesday Jam - A contact improvisation dance jam CCAP

Join us for an inspiring Contact Improvisation (CI) jam every Tuesday during Spring 2026, hosted by the non-profit association Kontaktimprovisation Stockholm! 🌼

🌿 Event Highlights:

• Each week, a designated jam host will oversee the space and ensure a smooth flow.
• Some weeks will feature a group warm-up led by the host, while other weeks participants will guide their own warm-ups.
• Expect special themes to explore as proposed by the jam host!

🕒 When:
Every Tuesday, from 18:00 to 20:00, starting 10 February and running until 26 May.
Doors open at 17:45 and 18:45—arrive at one of these times to be let in.

💰 Price:

• 50 SEK per jam for members of the association
• 100 SEK per jam for non-members
  (Only payment by Swish or cash is accepted.)

💃 About Contact Improvisation:
Contact Improvisation merges movement and interaction, inviting dancers to listen to their bodies while engaging with their environment and one another. This dynamic dance form emphasizes an evolving flow that encourages spontaneity and connection. Developed in the 1970s in the USA, it has captivated communities around the globe! 🌎

👥 Who Can Join:
This event welcomes everyone interested in exploring movement and connection through dance! Feel free to join or exit any dance at your own pace. Please note that while dancing occurs inside the studio, socializing and discussions are prioritized outside. Attendees are encouraged to dance barefoot and wear comfortable clothing.

Become a member of the Kontaktimprovisation Stockholm association for exclusive benefits, including reduced rates for jams and participation in special events. Here are the membership options:

• 1000 SEK for a full year with unlimited access to Sunday jams.
• 700 SEK for a term with unlimited Sunday jams and annual membership.
• 200 SEK for support membership without Sunday jam access.
