🎶 6 PM: Opening Act - Lilly Golden
Lilly Golden (she/her) is a talented singer-songwriter hailing from Vermont, known for her bubbly, sapphic spin on indie pop and Americana. With her clear-toned mezzo-soprano voice, her songs feature lush harmonies and intimate lyrics that feel like a snapshot of personal reflections. Her music traverses a range of styles, from upbeat pop to gentle folk ballads, tackling themes of coming of age and relationship dynamics in the beautiful Green Mountains.
Lilly's debut EP, Instar, released during her junior year of college, received critical acclaim, showcasing her standout vocals and heartfelt songwriting. This was followed by a full-length demo album, Roadside Attraction, which features eight tracks inspired by a cross-country road trip.

🎷 7:30 PM: Headlining Act - The Big Takeover
Fronted by the charismatic Nee Nee Rushie, The Big Takeover is a seven-piece band from New York that seamlessly blends Jamaican rhythms with global pop influences. They pay homage to the roots of reggae, rocksteady, and ska while infusing their original music with a contemporary twist. Their performances are marked by complex arrangements and catchy hooks, echoing the spirit of Motown and the modern retro soul revival.
After a successful 12-state tour in 2018 and a memorable performance at Omaha’s Jazz on the Green festival, they have captivated audiences with their energetic sound, including airplay for their single “Rainboots” across National Public Radio stations.
