Ubi Sunt Poetry Workshop

Join us at the Branigan Cultural Center for an engaging Ubi Sunt Poetry Workshop! This workshop is designed for adults aged 18 and over, limited to 25 participants.

Ubi sunt is a Latin phrase meaning "where are...", often explored in poetry that reflects on the transitory nature of life and invokes feelings of longing for the past. During this workshop, you'll get the chance to create your own unique ubi sunt poetry inspired by the stunning photography of Craig Varjabedian, featured in our exhibit “Into the Great White Sands.”

Guided by retired teacher and author Rosilyn Skibyak, you'll receive support as you express your thoughts and feelings influenced by both the artwork and the beauty of nature.
