Vinnies Winter Appeal & PJ Day

Join us for a special day dedicated to raising awareness for the St Vincent de Paul Society and their annual Winter Appeal!

🎉 What to Expect:

• Wear your PJs to school (please avoid slippers and ugg boots for safety).
• Bring a gold coin to purchase delicious treats at recess! Our Year 6 Pope Francis award students will be selling goodies, and all proceeds will support the local Meadowbank Vinnies Conference.
• Donate to our West Ryde Vinnies Food Bank! Suggested items for each grade include:
  • Kindy: Breakfast cereals (e.g. porridge sachets, Cheerios, Corn Flakes)
  • Year 1: Small bottles of instant coffee and packets of tea
  • Year 2: Spreads (e.g. Vegemite, peanut butter, jam, Nutella)
  • Year 3: Long life oat/soy milk, cans of chickpeas/cannellini beans
  • Year 4: Small tins of tuna/cans of soup/cup of soup
  • Year 5: Non-refrigerated cheese (e.g. Laughing Cow, Bega Cheddar, cheese spread)
  • Year 6: Items for our Bake Sale (e.g. muffins, cupcakes, brownies, slices, lolly bags, donuts)
