Weeding Wednesday Walk

Join us for Weeding Wednesday—a chance to connect with nature and meet fellow gardening enthusiasts!

We'll start our day at Green Apple to fuel up and socialize before heading out to Bushwick Inlet Park to roll up our sleeves and get our hands dirty in the garden. 🌿

This is a real, hands-on experience where we'll be tending to the garden: pulling out weeds and making space for the plants that truly belong. It's a grounding experience in every sense!

What to Bring:

• Comfortable walking shoes 👟
• Water 💧
• An open mind for conversations 🤝

All supplies provided! Just wear clothes you don’t mind getting a little earthy.

Event Schedule:

• 6:00 PM — Meet and Mingle at Green Apple: Check in and get comfortable with the group.
• 6:30 PM — Walk to Bushwick Inlet Park: A brisk 15-minute walk to join the park clean-up crew for weeding, planting, and mulching.
• 8:30 PM — Chill & Shop back at Green Apple: After a rewarding session in the park, we’ll return to unwind and say goodbye!

Important Notes:

• The walk will cover 1.6 miles at a moderate pace, with a couple of pauses. If you need a slower pace, just let us know on the day! 🙌
