Our young plants are in need of some dedicated love and care as they settle into their new home. Come together with the Urbem tribe in Alvalade as we mulching, weeding, watering, and enjoying great company among nature.

🌱 Why Attend?

This is a fantastic chance to connect with your community, discover native Portuguese plant species, and play an active role in creating a greener Lisbon. Bring the family along for a day of eco-friendly fun!
Plus, engaging with soil can enhance your mood! Studies show that soil microorganisms can aid in releasing serotonin—the “happiness hormone”—in our brains. Get your healthy dose of nature-led joy!

🛠️ What We Will Do

Our activities vary with the seasons but generally include:

• Nurturing: Watering and supplying nutrients to our young trees.
• Maintenance: Careful weeding and pruning to promote healthy growth.
• Biodiversity: Eradicating invasive species to allow our native plants the space to thrive.

🗓️ Event Details

• When: Every other Saturday from 10:00 to 13:00
• Meeting Point: Rua Alfredo Mesquita
• What to Bring: A reusable water bottle, clothes you don’t mind getting dirty, sturdy shoes/boots, and sun protection.
• What We Provide: All necessary gloves, tools, and an abundance of positive energy!
