Anima Mundi

Between womanhood, humanity and the fleetingness of the world, a temporary community of shared searching emerges. This immersive performance combines the bodies of the two performers, the rhythm of the seasons and the audience in a landscape of ceaseless transformation, where identities are relational, not fixed. Collective existence in motion becomes a way of rehearsing a different world. A world in which change equals possibility, not failure.

A work‑in‑progress immersive performance, Anima Mundi initiates an intimate journey toward discovering one’s relationship to humanity and womanhood: a way of being that can be inhabited freely, lightly and courageously with a sense of groundedness, pride and togetherness. „Still, we search for an ideal that would allow us to live well; still, we fail to reach it. The seasonal rhythm frames an endless process of transformation and new experiences. We would like to create a perfect world for everyone, but we’re not satisfied with what we find.“

Drawing on their friendship, the performers create a living landscape of transformation and long-sought answers to questions that render the personal universal. Amidst constantly shifting identities, that which remains is revealed: strength, playfulness, the ability to rest and then concentrate once again. The audience is not just a witness. Viewers are invited to take part in a shared search for an ideal world where change is not a threat, but a space for collective shifts, attention and a return to the universal in each of us.
