Join us for an insightful journey into the rich heritage of Sudanese artefacts at the Archeological Museum in Poznań!
The exhibition showcases a remarkable collection that began in the 1970s, thanks to the dedicated efforts of professor Lech Krzyżaniak and Polish archaeological research in Old Dongola and Kadero. This collection has grown to become one of the largest of its kind in Europe, enriched by valuable contributions from the Royal Ontario Museum in Toronto and the unique objects from the Khartoum National Museum.
Recent expansions include artefacts gathered from archaeological rescue projects around the fourth Cataract of the Nile, as well as exciting exchanges with the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston.
