While the complexities of prehistoric societies cannot be entirely reconstructed, the multitude of archaeological artefacts unearthed in Greater Poland allows researchers to illuminate the various prehistoric eras and certain aspects of daily life.
Visitors can marvel at the most intriguing artefacts and engage with their historical context as we display lifelike models of early humans, animals, dwellings, and burial sites. Our goal is to transport you to the long-lost world of our ancestors, making history tangible and relatable. Most of the artefacts are part of the Museum’s extensive collection, with some generously on loan from esteemed archaeological institutions.
