Climate Arcade: Gamified Simulations for Pro Climate Behaviours
What if a game could do what a campaign poster can't? 🤔 Join us for a hands-on workshop that reimagines climate conversations, transforming technical jargon into engaging, participatory experiences!
Organized by Transitions Research in collaboration with the London School of Economics and Political Science, this session explores the idea that games aren't just an addition to behaviour-change work; they're a powerful method for it. By turning complex climate decisions into personal interactions, we create low-stakes spaces where everyone can voice their needs and where practitioners can discover new insights.
What to Expect:
- Gamify Your Approach: Engage with a card-based simulation that was successfully piloted at Mumbai Climate Week 2026.
- Collaborative Learning: Work through entrenched climate behaviour challenges from the Global South and leave with innovative ideas and prototypes for your own projects.
- Networking Opportunities: Connect with policymakers, researchers, funders, civic groups, behavioral scientists, game designers, and communications professionals working in climate change and behaviour change.
If you're passionate about overcoming the barriers to human acceptance of climate interventions, this is the workshop for you! 🙌
