GatherNYC: Catalyst Quartet
Join us for an unforgettable musical journey with the acclaimed GRAMMY-winning Catalyst Quartet! Their remarkable performances highlight the works of Black composers throughout history, showcasing their unique style and polished artistry for the second time at GatherNYC.
GatherNYC is reimagining the concert experience, founded in 2018 by cellist Laura Metcalf and guitarist Rupert Boyd. Our upcoming season will feature 31 captivating concerts from October 2025 to May 2026, taking place every Sunday at 11 AM in The Theater at MAD.
Enjoy an exquisite blend of live classical music performed by some of New York’s most talented artists, alongside artisanal coffee and pastries. Each concert includes a delightful mix of spoken word and a moment to celebrate silence. The entire experience lasts for one hour, reminiscent of the community and spiritual uplift that a religious service offers – but here, the religion is music, and everyone is welcome!
