Session Structure
1. Opening & Grounding (30 min)
- Welcome circle and guided meditation.
- Focus on safety, presence, breath, and bodily sensations.
- Identify where anger resides in your body.
2. Visual Expression & Embodied Awareness (1 hr)
- Engage in a guided visual art process using colors, shapes, and hand movements to express anger.
- Externalize and visualize emotions without judgment.
- Connect emotions to bodily sensations.
- Experience gentle, accessible yoga-based movements to release and reconnect with your inner strength, supported by calming music.
- No prior art or movement experience is necessary!
3. Reflection & Integration (30 min)
- Observe your artwork and bodily experiences, noticing shifts in emotions or awareness.
- Optional sharing within the group or privately with the facilitator.
- Focus on personal insights and self-regulation.
Practical Information
- All materials will be provided + enjoy Fika! ☕
- Feel free to bring your own diary, sketchbook, or personal art materials.
- This session thrives on voluntary contributions to support its continuation, so contribute as you feel comfortable.
