Born on December 4, 1942, in Královské Vinohrady, Jan has captivated audiences as a music director, dramaturge, and nighttime narrator of radio fairy tales. His journey began with a humble start, playing the violin before discovering his true passion for jazz and wind instruments. Over the decades, he has played various genres including Dixieland, rock 'n' roll, and rhythm & blues, and has been the heart of ASPM since 1984.

Together with his talented band, the Amateur Association of Professional Musicians, featuring:
