AWCC is a nonprofit sanctuary located in Portage Valley, surrounded by the Chugach Mountain Range and Turnagain Arm. Dedicated to conservation, education, research, and quality animal care, AWCC provides a home for orphaned and injured animals while offering visitors the opportunity to learn about Alaska’s wildlife.
