Presented in partnership with the Anchorage Downtown Partnership and the Anchorage Museum, this unique event features three of Alaska's most celebrated songwriters:

Unlike a traditional concert, Parlor in the Round is a blend of songwriter showcase, storytelling event, and musical game show. Throughout the evening, artists will:

• Perform original songs
• Share the stories behind their music
• Respond to creative prompts from the audience, inspiring new collaborations and unexpected moments.

Every performance is unique, inviting audiences into the songwriting process while celebrating the craft, humor, and humanity behind great songs.

Featured Artists

• Emma Hill: A respected singer-songwriter with nearly two decades of heartfelt songwriting, Emma has toured North America and Europe, earning praise from various publications. She is also the founder of Spenard Song Circle.
• Tyson Davis: Frontman of Blackwater Railroad Company, known for their energetic blend of genres. Tyson is also the founder of HatcherRomp!, an annual music festival celebrating Alaska artists.
• Ashley Young: A rising Tlingit singer-songwriter with powerful vocals, Ashley has shared stages with notable artists and serves as President of MusicAlaska.
