Longital
Longital will perform on May 22 with their album Krajina beží dolu vlastným brehom (The Country Runs Down Its Own Shore) in Spišská Nová Ves.
Longital, a fixture on the Czech-Slovak independent scene, has been performing for 25 years with a combination of poetic lyrics, Shina's vocals, bass lines played by Sláko, and Dan Salontay's guitar. The duo has performed on stages around the world, from Europe to the US and Canada, at SXSW in Austin, and on tour with Ireland's The Frames and the Oscar-winning project The Swell Season (Glen Hansard & Markéta Irglová).
Their new album Krajina beží dolu vlastným brehom (Slnko Records, 2025) offers an intimate and experimental sound journey – from acoustic instruments through electronic layers to a unique voice. The lyrics open up space for inner questions of being, joy, and transience. The album is an invitation to pause, listen inwardly, and return to what is essential.
