Remembering Sheila Jordan with Colorado Tribute Band

Join us for a heartfelt tribute to NEA Jazz Master Sheila Jordan, featuring talented Colorado jazz musicians who were close friends of hers. They will share music they performed with Sheila and recount inspiring stories on the one-year anniversary of her passing.

Sheila was a true icon of jazz history, having been best friends with Charlie Parker, married to his piano player Duke Jordan, and mingling with many jazz legends during the New York BeBop era. She dedicated her life to jazz and continued to perform until she passed at the age of 96.
