Tribute to Kurt Jooss’ Green Table (2025)
In this powerful piece, Manuel Pelmuș and Frédéric Gies reinterpret Jooss’s iconic antiwar ballet, The Green Table (1932), delving into themes of diplomacy's futility amidst fascism and war. Through this solo performance, Gies engages in a vital dialogue with the original choreography and its socio-political implications, invoking the tradition of danse macabre to reflect on our current global tensions.

Deflecting Misfortune and Averting the Evil Eye (2024)
This innovative piece translates the ancient ritual practice of anasyrma into a vibrant dance, emphasizing its protective symbolism and its resonance in contemporary protest. By honoring various dance and feminist performances, this work interrogates the intricate balance between poetic expression and political action.
