About Federico Solmi:

Born in 1973 in Bologna, Italy, and now a New York resident, Federico Solmi's innovative video and audio creations earned him a John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Fellowship in 2009. His notable solo exhibits include:

• American Circus at the Haifa Museum of Art, Israel (2016)
• The Grand Masquerade at the Tarble Art Center, Illinois (2019)
• Joie de Vivre at the Morris Museum, New Jersey (2022–2023)
• Upcoming: The Great Farce at Block Museum of Art, Northwestern University, Chicago, Illinois (September 2024)

His works can be found in prestigious collections such as the Phillips Collection and the Phoenix Art Museum.
