Soapstone Mountain Half Marathon 2026

Join us for the Soapstone Mountain Half Marathon in 2026! 🏃‍♂️💨 This exciting new trail race will offer record-breaking opportunities, and every participant is guaranteed a Personal Record (PR) on this unique course! Snap a selfie at the iconic tower during your run! 📸

For those looking for a shorter challenge, don’t miss the Jerry Stage 6k “Sampler”, celebrating the legacy of Jerry Stage and his dedication to the Soapstone races.

Both races wind through the stunning scenery of Shenipsit Forest State Park. It’s the perfect spot for friends and family to hang out, bringing chairs, kids, and a picnic while waiting for their runners. Our post-race food and drinks will satisfy even the hungriest runners!

Course Details 🗺️

• Half Marathon: Starts at Reddington Rock Riding Club, featuring a combination of dirt roads and single track trails. You'll traverse the blue-blazed Shenipsit Trail, hitting well-stocked aid stations along the way, ensuring everyone has plenty of refreshments.
• 6K Course: Begins similarly at RRRC, offering a scenic view through the forest with several turns back onto Sodom Road, wrapping up back at the same finish line.

  • 07:45 AM - Registration opens
  • 09:00 AM - Half Marathon starts
  • 10:00 AM - Jerry Stage 6K starts
• Note: This is a cupless race, so please bring your own water container.
