The permanent exhibition at Cricoteka—the archive of the work of Polish 20th century theatre visionary Tadeusz Kantor—presents objects, objects and costumes from the performances of his Cricot 2 Theatre, most of which have not been exhibited permanently so far. The curators radically change the narrative inscribed in the previous shows, prepared according to the instructions left by the artist himself. They blur the boundaries of time and build space for new interpretations. The stage objects form a post-disaster landscape, lose their distinctiveness and generate new, intuitive meanings. The presentation is complemented by theatrical lighting, projections and sound effects enabling a multi-sensory perception of the exhibition space.
