Are you ready to embark on a journey in outdoor education? Our Woodland Activity Leader Training (WALT) offers an accessible and affordable pathway to becoming a qualified environmental education instructor!

What You Will Learn:

• Environmental Education Methodology
• Bushcraft Skills (including tarp shelters)
• Engaging Environmental Education Games
• Tool Use (knives, saws, loppers, & more)
• Naturalist Knowledge (trees, plants, minibeasts, & more)
• Campfire Use & Fire Lighting
• Conservation Activities & Leave No Trace Principles
• Health and Safety & Risk Assessment
• Outdoor Session Planning

WALT is accredited by NCFE with a Level 2 qualification, equipping you to lead exciting outdoor education sessions for all ages and abilities. The training is structured in two parts:

• Part 1: Online Theory Modules (self-paced)
• Part 2: In-person Practical Workshops over just 3 days!

This immersive training takes place in the picturesque Park In The Past, encompassing 120 acres of stunning woodlands, wetlands, and open meadows. Explore nature while gaining practical skills!
