Join us for a transformative experience at the Vajrasattva Initiation, a sacred tantric empowerment focused on purification practices. This ceremony is centered on Vajrasattva, the embodiment of purifying negative karma and obstacles, paving the way for a deeper connection with Vajrasattva meditation in the Vajrayana tradition.
About the Initiation:
- Type: Kriya Tantra Jenang (blessing empowerment)
- Vajrasattva with Wisdom Mother
- No tantric vows are conferred; however, H.E. Ling Rinpoche will offer the Bodhisattva vows before the initiation.
- Commitment: To uphold the Bodhisattva vows (no commitments tied to the initiation itself).
Requirements:
- Students must have faith in the Three Jewels; a key requirement by H.E. Ling Rinpoche.
- Refuge vows will be issued prior to the initiation on the same day from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM.
Preparation & Support:
On May 6, Venerable Khadro will provide a FREE online talk explaining both the Refuge ceremony and the Vajrasattva initiation, from 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM.
General Information:
- Teachings will be translated into ENGLISH.
- Limited onsite space available: 70 seats - ensure to book early to avoid disappointment!
- Enjoy warm drinks and simple fika: feel free to bring your own lunch or visit the local Vegan Café Mahalo (please note, no microwave is available).
- For non-local students, accommodations must be arranged independently; our center doesn’t provide lodging.
- On the final day, bring cash and a khata for offering to Rinpoche.
- Arrive 15 minutes early to each session; late arrivals disrupt the audience.
- Kindly refrain from wearing perfume due to sensitivities among some attendees.
- Children aged 10 and older are welcome to join the event.
About H.E. Ling Rinpoche:
