Sim Eternal City — Book Launch & A Future New York Storytelling Night

📚 On May 18, the first printed edition of Sim Eternal City: A Framework for Coastal Cities arrives in the vibrant Red Hook neighborhood, where the story began. But this event is much more than a book launch; it's also the inaugural public night of IWBFD Storytelling Studios, dedicated to unveiling the storytelling projects that will guide the studio's future.

🌊 As New York adapts to rising tides, we're faced with the dual challenge of losing land and the memories tied to our neighborhoods. Sim Eternal City envisions a future where Land Cities and Floating Cities coexist, enabling our elders to remain vibrant contributors to urban life.

What to Expect This Evening:
— The Book: Paul J. J. Kang will read from Sim Eternal City and its companion concept, No Stone Tombstone, offering a fresh take on memory and legacy, deeply rooted in Red Hook's waterfront.
— The Site: Be among the first to learn about the final waterfront site for New York's floating city, joining five candidates already introduced this spring.
— The Projects: Meet Mistry and Vignan Ganji, who will present the NY Storytelling Project within the Sim Eternal City framework. Experience Nate DiDomizio's introduction of We Kings Creative A.C.Ts—a new initiative from IWBFD Storytelling Studios.

🍹 Between sessions, enjoy an open networking evening with light drinks at a cozy Red Hook café, all while soaking in views of the Statue of Liberty and the gentle harbor waves.
