Stabat Mater

An exceptional concert program, Stabat Mater, which will present the unusual and revealing charm of Spanish Baroque music.

In collaboration with Spanish soprano Beatriz Lafont Murcia and with the support of Spanish cultural institutions, Musica Florea will perform spiritual cantatas by Francisco Hernández Illana, the impressive Stabat Mater by composer Emanuele d 'Astorga, who came from a Spanish noble family settled in Italy, and as a final work, Salve Regina by the important composer José de Nebra.
