Zero Downtime Hackathon | Win an NVIDIA DGX Spark AI Supercomputer

About the event

Join us for the Zero Downtime Hackathon! 🖥️

Building reliable AI systems requires three core pillars:

  • Understanding your project
  • Extracting web data without breaking
  • Having visibility in production

🛠️ What You Need to Build

Create a working app, automated pipeline, or agentic workflow using your coding assistant (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex). Your project must integrate the following tools into a complete lifecycle:

  1. Plan and Track in Port

    • Set up your workspace in Port to define project goals, technical choices, risks, and tasks.
    • Log your final working APIs, scrapers, and services for a central dashboard showing project health.
  2. Fetch and Fix Data with Bright Data Scraper Studio

    • Build your web data pipeline directly inside your coding assistant terminal.
    • Extract web data through terminal commands and save your scraper settings for automatic reuse.
    • Implement automatic scraper repair when target websites update their HTML structure.
  3. Monitor and Observe with SigNoz

    • Add observability to your application or pipeline by tracking traces, metrics, and logs.
    • Monitor performance latency, data execution rates, and failure events.

🤝 The Tools

  • Port.io: Your central project dashboard for organization and tracking.
  • Bright Data Scraper Studio: An AI-powered data extraction platform for structured, machine-readable JSON feeds.
  • SigNoz: An open-source observability platform for deep visibility into your application.

🏆 Prizes and Tracks

  • Main Grand Prize: Best Full-Stack Integration (NVIDIA DGX Spark Supercomputer worth $5,000)
  • Track Prizes: Keychron Keyboards for each member of winning teams worth $120 each.
    • Best Port Integration
    • Best Bright Data Scraper Studio Integration
    • Best SigNoz Integration

💡 Project Ideas

  • Market Intel Pipeline: Scrape updates, auto-fix scrapers, and track API traces.
  • Docs-to-RAG Bot: Crawl documentation sites into structured data.
  • Self-Healing CI/CD Pipeline: Run scheduled web checks and monitor logs.

📋 Submission Requirements

  • GitHub repo with code and README.
  • Demo Video (3 to 5 minutes) showcasing your workflow.

🚨 Rules

  • Team Size: 1 to 4 members.
  • On-Site Participation: Attend in person at Bright Data, San Francisco.
  • Submission Deadline: End of the day.
  • Judging & Awards: Winners announced live on the same day.
